Platinized Titanium Anode for Cathodic Protection

Platinized titanium anode for impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) enables low and appropriate current density. It composes of a very thin layer of platinum metal or the oxides of platinum onto a titanium substrate and is widely applied for cathodic protection in structures buried in soil and the steel exposed to marine environments such as oil and gas producing platforms, ships, and oil well casings on a long-term basis. UTron manufacture platinized titanium anode for cathodic protection with highly corrosion resistance, favorable electrical conductivity, they allow moderate current densities and ensure effective performance. These anodes can be lightweight and a convenient size and shape, and ensure stability of operational voltage due to a low platinum consumption rate per ampere-hour. Platinized Titanium Anode for Cathodic Protection  Parameters: Substrate: Titanium in Grade 1 or 2;   Coating material: Platinum (purity 99.99%); Coating thickness:1-15 micron; Shape: Rod or

MMO Ti Linear Anode

MMO linear anodes are a flexible, prepackaged porous, woven acid-resistant sleeve linear anode contains high conductivity calcined petroleum coke breeze. This sleeve is sewn using a poly two or four-thread double interlocking stitch, which prevents the seam from separating during installation, or when stored in high temperature conditions. This arrangement avoids handling loose coke breeze and simplifies field installation. It improved current distribution increases anode efficiency and helps prevent over-voltage problems such as hydrogen generation and associated rapid coating disbondment. In addition, interference from other structures and stray currents are virtually eliminated. UTron develops and manufactures MMO linear anode by adopting Gr1 or Gr2 titanium wire (ASTM B348) in 1, 5 mm or 3mm diameter with MMO (IrO 2 /Ta 2 O 5) catalyst coating. This MMO linear anode is proved to be efficient in low-current, distributed cathodic protection systems. Parameters: Item Parameters Mod

Powered Titanium Water Heater Anode Rod

Powered anode is an impressed-current anode which is not consumed. A powered anode rod in water heater does not react with the water at all, but it prevents unpleasant rotten-eggs odor. It relies on electricity being fed into the anode to impose a flow of current rather than relying on natural electrolysis. While sacrificial anode is consumed more rapidly in softened water, it needs replacement after two or three year’s usage up to the water quality. UTron manufactures  powered anode rod for water heater adopting Gr1 or Gr2 titanium anode rod coated with ruthenium Iridium and other noble metal mixed oxide whose operating life can last 10 years without replacement. This non-consumable powered titanium anode rod provides a controlled release of electrons that negatively charge the water heater or water tank and its components, preventing corrosion (rusting) from occurring. Parameters: Rod diameter: 1, 1.5, 2, 3mm or customize; Rod length: 100,120,150,200,220, 340mm or customize; Threadi

MMO Ribbon Anode and Titanium Conductor Bar

The MMO Ribbon Anode consists of mixed precious metal oxides that are sintered to the surface of titanium substrate to have electro catalytic characteristics. This mixed metal oxide anodes have an extremely low consumption rate, the titanium substrate remains constant throughout the design life of the anode. It can be used in fresh water, brackish water, seawater, coke, or sand environment in cathodic protection application with long operating life. UTron manufactures MMO ribbon anodes  by using pure titanium substrate, which meets ASTM B265 in Grade 1 or Grade 2 standards, coated with precious mixed metal oxides IrO2/Ta2O5 for a maximum current density of 17 mA/m. They can be used in sands with various levels of moisture and salt contents, and can be designed to provide effective protection for 50 years and more. Strict quality procedures are followed throughout the coating process to ensure proper adhesion and loading. The coating is strictly following Tape test as per ASTM D 3359

MMO Ti Tubular Anode

MMO Tubular Anode provides longest life and greatest current output in all ICCP anodes for the sake of its largest surface area and the compact cable connection. It has been proven to operate effectively in all types of environments, including areas with extremely low pH levels (under 1), and high chloride concentrations. It can be used in strings on offshore platforms or in deep ground beds and other application.   UTron has dedicated to MMO titanium tubular anodes manufacturing for decades. The tubular anodes of UTron meets ASTM B338 standards in Grade 1 or Grade 2, coated with Iridium - Tantalum - Titanium (IrO2/Ta2O5) coating, widely used in cathodic protection fields. The anodes have been proven to have an extremely low consumption rate and the titanium substrate remains constant throughout the design life of the anode.   UTron has strict quality control procedures throughout the whole production process. Each batch is subjected to thorough testing. The anode performance is con
